DexProtector 12.7
In DexProtector 12.5 we introduced our new and improved runtime checks for Android. These are designed with a zero-code approach to help DexProtector to easily mitigate modern, sophisticated threats that target the Android ecosystem.
And in version 12.7 we’re happy to announce that this mechanism is now also available for iOS applications.
So, how does it work?
DexProtector automatically implements checks both at start-up and during runtime on the iOS platform. It instantly crashes all application processes if any of the following are detected:
- Compromized application integrity
- Dynamic instrumentation and hooking frameworks
- Debuggers
- Emulators
- Jailbroken devices
Based on our experience and on our clients’ feedback when using DexProtector, we know that beyond applying robust protection techniques themselves, the next most important thing is verifying a protected application’s behaviour.
That’s why we’ve introduced a threat modelling feature in DexProtector Studio for Android and iOS. Now, with just a few clicks you can apply your app’s personalized risk model and observe how it reacts to detected anomalies on real devices.
