DexProtector 9.5
Beta builds of Android Q became available for developers and beta testers earlier than last year's Developer Previews. A lot of new security features and improvements were introduced in Android Q. And we’re delighted to announce that our development team has added support for them in the new version of DexProtector.
We’re proud to announce the release of DexProtector 9.5.
The unique functionality of DexProtector is the multi-layered protection of Android Libraries (AAR). The new version of DexProtector allows you to use DexProtector CryptoModule to protect your Android Libraries (payment, financial, medical, scientific, etc.) CryptoModule is capable of automatically protecting Android/Java Crypto API usage, securing cryptographic key material storage, and performing cryptographic operations with them inside Secure Execution Environments (virtual TEE).
This new feature is particularly valuable for developers of products that interact with various payment systems, such as MasterCard and Visa. CryptoModule is available (licensed separately) for DexProtector Enterprise customers.
The support for the iOS platform is one of the priority vectors in the development of DexProtector Enterprise. It securely and robustly protects iOS Applications and Frameworks (IPA and .Framework) providing best-in-class String Encryption, Hide Access (hiding of method calls, control flow obfuscation) and SSL Pinning. We’ve also improved the Environment Checks module that is embedded automatically and transparently into your application.
When it comes to the iOS platform, it’s often crucial to check the application's integrity and to detect a Jailbreak - particularly in terms of hybrid applications (Xamarin, etc.) For these applications, the Environment Checks module can also be embedded automatically into the finished IPA. This is the case even if your IPA doesn’t contain bitcode.
