Stringer Java Obfuscator 2.5.15
We’re happy to announce the release of Stringer Java Obfuscator 2.5.15, which comes with significantly-improved protection mechanisms. They can now be used to secure your Java applications (JARs, WARs, EARs) against decompiling/reverse-engineering and cracking.
You can create trial versions of your software with little effort. And soon you’ll be able to create a reliable licensing mechanism for your applications at zero-cost.
The most important change in this version of Stringer is the all new Integrity Protection mechanism (Tamper Resistance). Remember to check you have added all the sensitive classes into the filter, that you used at least Java 7 for your builds, and that you have the integrityProtection option enabled in your configuration.
Stringer's Gradle plugin also now supports Java projects.
This latest version also comes with a fix to deal with crashes under JVM 8_91/92 / Hot Spot Compiler C1 compilation of methods that were protected with InvokeDynamic.
Finally, all Maven artifacts are now shipped within the distribution package.
